Thematic group exhibition that examines fetishism and its changing meanings for art and art creation in a cross-cultural and historical perspective.

By way of different artistic positions past and present the exhibition explores the concept of the fetish as it has evolved historically from its original ethnographic meaning as an object attributed with sacred power to its subsequent redefinitions in religious studies, political economy, psychology, art and aesthetics.
